MY DEATH and REBIRTH from TRASH is a short film divided into four episodes, each of which features four individual characters in the act of selling their souls to the trash. How? By wearing it.
This simple action was created to metaphorically evoke how Generation Z, the innocent victim of last century’s capitalism, carries the fateful ”junk men’s burden”, the waste burden of an era of futile, unbridled consumption. How to get out of it? By recycling and self-recycling.
Every prop and every single garment used in this video is trash.
