We wanted to create a fashion film which would engage the audience. Therefore we created a fictional girl band and made a film which was to look like a mish mash of behind the scenes on their photoshoot/music video shoot. We took inspiration from the Steven Miesel scene in “Portfolio”, Jem and the Holograms, the turbulent energy from archive Avedon campaign shoots for Versace and memories of old 1980s/90s girl bands.
