Founder of the digital platform Buro

Cited as a “force of the fashion industry” by the Financial Times and as “a brilliant entrepreneur” by Vogue, Miroslava Duma is the founder of digital company, Buro 24/7 and its fashion and lifestyle platform Buro247.com.

In a testament to its success, in just four years, Buro 24/7 has launched local versions in 10 countries including Russia, Ukraine, Middle East, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Central Europe with an additional 12 countries in the pipeline.

Buro 24/7 also provides marketing consultancy services to a number of clients such as the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Russias biggest retail company, Mercury where Duma formerly held the position of Digital Media Director.

The Buro 24/7 brand has also expanded offline with Buro Canteen and Buro Styling and Beauty in Moscow.

Duma is an active investor across a range of businesses including revFluence- a social media marketing company, Reformation- a greenfashion brand and RewardStyle- a monetization service for publishers and content creators. She is always looking for new digital business opportunities as this is where her passion and in her words “the future lies”.

Miroslava is a regular speaker and commentator on business, digital and media and has featured as a panelist at the DLD conference in Munich, Vogue Fashion Festival in London, fashiontech in New York and for two years running at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

In what Mira describes as a “true career highlight”, she facilitated a panel with Jack Ma, founder & executive chairman of Ali Baba in front of hundreds of people at one of Russia’s largest economic events, SPIEF 2015, on the topic “New era of Commerce and Trade”.

Duma is also an avid philanthropist, founding her charity Peace Planet which helps children in need of urgent medical assistance.
