Anderson’s work is evocative of urban mythologies, both deeply sentimental and restrained. Informed by a background in journalism, her films are inherently narrative, expanding on concepts with a sculptural and inquisitive eye. She tells stories honoring the radiance of ordinary things, activating scenes with an instinctual use of color, mood and tone. Her work and subjects are diverse—ranging from fashion films to travel reportage documentaries. Her projects have taken her to Georgia, Eritrea, and Iceland where she’s collaborated with Dazed and Confused, Airbnb, and Yves Saint Laurent among others. She’s currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
