#FFFMILANOFOREDUCATION PROUDLY PRESENTS THE FASHION FILMS CREATED BY ACCADEMIA COSTUME & MODA’S STUDENTS AS PART OF AN INDUSTRY PROJECT

Fashion Film Festival Milano has renewed its collaboration with Accademia Costume & Moda for an Industry Project involving students from the Master in Fashion Communication & Art Direction A.Y. 2025/2026.

In line with the festival’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of creative storytellers, this collaboration invited students to explore the power of video and film as essential tools for modern fashion communication. Under the guidance of Constanza Cavalli Etro, founding director of FFFMilano, along with Sara Maino, Head of Vogue Talents, and Riccardo Conti, journalist and researcher, students were challenged to develop their own fashion film.

Students were introduced to fashion film with a presentation that traced the roots and evolution of this communication tool held by Constanza Etro. What followed was a hands-on creative process: with expert mentorship from Maino and Conti, students developed original storyboards, directed and shot their films, edited the footage, and crafted strategies for promotion.

Divided into six groups, the students rose to the challenge with outstanding ingenuity, delivering short films that not only impressed with their technical quality but also for their bold creativity.

Fashion Film Festival Milano is thrilled to showcase these exceptional works as part of the #FFFMilanoForEducation initiative, celebrating fresh voices and visionary talent in fashion cinema.

Goldmine Stopover by Nicole Bonuomo, Anna Ercolessi, Nithyashree Krishna, Luca Lorandi

SE(‘) by Paola Ioren Napoli, Rebecca, Marini, Alice Panisal, Benedetta Petrucci

Delirio Colectivo by Victor Baena, Camilla Bianchi, Wenhao Fan, Lucía Gordo

Do you feel safe in your own skin? When the collective consumes the individual, identity is suspended by a thread easily shattered by power, leaving no self. The fashion film “Delirio Collectivo” is a visceral exploration of what it means to break from imposed norms.

Nini by Maria Vittoria Celani, Vittoria Di Tommaso, Nicole Pozzi, Silvia Ripamonti

“Ninì” is a quiet meditation on presence, memory, and maternal love. The motherly figure is felt in the stillness, in the light that lingers, in the gestures that echo through empty rooms.

Sonder by Ana Brum, Lizeth Fernandez, Becca Payne

The “Sonder moment”, is a quiet, mind-shifting realisation that every passerby lives a life as vivid and complex as your own, filled with ìwith stories, loved ones, and wounds too.

Daedalus by Nita Mustonen, Emily Bianconi, Chiara Centone, Diego Parente

In what seems to be a therapy session, a creative director named “Daedalus” drifts inward, journeying through the vivid, distorted landscapes of her own mind. These visions are not mere fantasies, but a rebellion against convention and a cry to break free from expectations.
