Nadia Lee Cohen is a filmmaker, photographer  and acclaimed self-portrait artist. Heavily inspired by cinema from America, Britain, and the French New Wave, her photographs and films are character-driven visions of saturated and surreal dreamscapes that capture the pleasures and terrors of domestic comfort. 

In 2020 she published her first book ‘Women’ with IDEA; a major monograph six years in the making; this book features 100 previously unseen portraits. A heartbreaking work of theatrical ambiguity, naked in its honesty and deeply moving. 

Nadia has collaborated commercially with some of the world’s most exciting brands, from Mac, Maison Margiela, Adidas, Schiaparelli, Playboy, Gucci and Valentino. She has been interviewed by the likes of Vogue, Dazed, I-D and Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine. Her work has appeared in New York Magazine, The Sunday Times, and many others.
